Summary of our Capabilities
Our capabilities cover every aspect of our discipline, from initial proposal work to the final certification reports, as detailed below.

Equipment Selection and Qualification
We have extensive experience in the preparation of System, Sub-System and equipment Specifications and the associated tasks of specification compliance and equipment qualification.
An ability to effectively manage both the technical and commercial aspects with equipment suppliers provides a firm basis for efficient and timely equipment approvals.

Systems Engineering

We have implemented Systems Engineering processes and procedures for many clients, helping to define systems methodologies to enable clients to develop products in an efficient and cost effective manner. All processes implemented are in accordance with guidelines from the International Council on Systems Engineering.

Systems Analysis
We have performed the complete range of analyses required for Bleed Air, Cabin Conditioning, Avionics Cooling, Internal Equipment Conditioning, Vapour Cycle and Cabin Pressurisation Systems at both concept and detailed stages in projects.
These include full pressure loss, heat load, thermal, decompression, safety and failure analyses.
Employing traditional Systems Engineering techniques, calculations can be performed manually, through the creation of bespoke models using MS Excel or Mathworks Matlab / Simulink, or utilising specific systems analysis software such as Flowmaster, ESATAN, SINDA, SDRC IDEAS and ICEPAK.

Systems Testing
Our capabilities in this area extend from writing Build Test Procedures to participating in Flight trials.
We have a demonstrable ability to support the full range of rig and aircraft testing, devising the test procedures, helping perform the tests, analysing the results, writing the Certification Test Reports and verifying the system models.

Systems Certification
This can be a time consuming and difficult task. Our Engineers have already helped clients take their systems from concept to JAR / FAR part 23 and 25 approval, including creation of all documents required by the CAA, JAA and FAA. We also ensure compliance with many design standards including DEFSTAN 00-970, MILSTD 810 C/D/E, DO-160C/D and BS3G100.

Engineering and Design Support
As Mechanical Systems Engineers we are involved in extensive liaison with multi-disciplined teams of Engineers and Designers.
We support Sales Teams and our involvement in projects often starts at the bid stage.
Being commercially aware we recognise the importance of getting the job completed to cost and on time.
